Okay you and this woman have been chatting through your online dating service and now it’s time to meet. It is so important that you meet this lady in place that you feel most comfortable. Meeting someone for the first time can sometimes be very awkward. To make it easier you should try to meet some where that an environment that relaxes you.

No expectations

            If you go to a first date wondering what your future holds with a person you could be the cause of making things awkward. You should have the same mind set that you would if you were meeting a friend. Pressure is the last thing that you want to have to deal with.

She should pick

            Meeting someone in person that you have only had conversation with through email or telephone can be scary. Women have be very careful with these types of meetings. It is best if you let he choose were you first date will be. If she doesn’t know the area or what you like, she might ask you to give her some ideas. Still let her make the final decision. The first date should probably be something short like a cup of java or lunch.

Don’t Dress up

            It is best if you don’t get to dressy for the first day. If you come casual it would set more of a fun  and friendly atmosphere. If you dress suggestively there will be an expectation of romance. It is far better to concentrate on one another instead of staring of how attractive you may look in the shirt you are wearing.

Have A Good Time

            This is not supposed to be a tensions meet. You should be able to lay back and just be you. It will be obvious to your date if you are not completely comfortable. Smile.

Email or Text Message Her After the Date

            Hopefully the date went really well. After the date it would be nice if you sent her a nice email thanking her for the nice time that you had with her. Let her know if you are interested in seeing her again soon. For some reason in the dating world, women and men tend to wait two or three days before they contact each other, so that they don’t seem eager.  She will appreciate it. This will help your potential relationship move along at a good pace. 

Established a Relationship

            After you’ve met the single and things have gone well on your first few dates, it is time that you transition into a traditional relationship in the sense of calling more often and seeing one another. Don’t take personal if she doesn’t let you know where she lives right away. Understand that it is a matter of safety and being comfortable with you being in her personal space. The time will come for the two of you to move on to actually dating. If she senses that you are not willing to wait for her to get comfortable you may turn her off.
